Production apps are regular deployments of your project unlike PR review apps.
When creating a production app, you will be made to go through an app onboarding where you can set up everything required for your app like the buildpacks, addons, processes and environment variables. You can select a specific branch and your code from that branch will be deployed.
Unlike review apps, production apps will be kept running at all times and will not sleep when idle.
